Project Description

Following the development of a master plan for the Eastlink Trust, which identified several new sport facility opportunities for the site, including a gymsport facility, Turn and Circle Gymnastics commissioned a detailed feasibility study for a new build gymnastics facility.

RSL’s Role

RSL produced a detailed needs analysis, evaluating facility size, layout, and potential partnership opportunities. The report highlighted key points, including the rapid growth of the Hamilton/Waikato region, the increasing demand for gymnastics facilities, existing capacity constraints and significant latent demand.

Project Outcome

The recommendations focused on ensuring long-term sustainability, integrating the facility within the wider sports network, and identifying funding pathways to support development. These insights will help shape the future of gymnastics in the region, providing a high-quality space for athletes, coaches, and the community.
