Looking forward to having a conversation with Recreation Aotearoa National Conference attendees in November. I'm fortunate enough to have been selected to talk to the conference on the lessons to be learned from ultra-distance events that can be applied in our everyday lives. I'm promising some laughs (and maybe tears) along the journey, and aiming for people to leave inspired about putting a little bit of adventure into their lives.
The Conference is also a time to elect three new Board Members for Recreation Aotearoa. I'm genuinely chuffed that my colleague Kiri Pope has decided to put her name forward for a seat around the big table. Kiri is a former Chair and Board member of RA and brings so much wisdom to conversations. I urge all members to voice your right to vote.
